Mamadou Ciss
President and Founding Partner
President and Founding Partner of Alliance Commodities. His career in rice began with Cargill Geneva in 1984. In 1992 he founded Inglewood Gestion SA, after which he set up Ascot Commodities (part of the ADDAX ORYX group) in 1997. In 2006 he left for Singapore where he created Hermes Investments Pte Ltd. Upon returning to Geneva in 2011, he launched Alliance Commodities. Mr Ciss has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Geneva. Mamadou has 28 years experience in trading rice.
Chandra Hartono Jokowidjaja
Partner
Chandra Hartono Jokowidjaja is a partner at Alliance Commodities for Asia, specializing in Oil and Gas projects and trade. He is an expert in agricultural trade with extensive knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry in the Southeast Asian market. Mr. Chandra holds a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in international marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
Anthony Patwary
Managing Director and Founding Partner
Anthony Patwary is Alliance Commodities Managing Director and Founding Partner. He also began his career at Cargill in Geneva in 1992 before joining Marc Rich Investments and later Ascot Commodities. In 2011 he joined forces with Mamadou Ciss and created Alliance Commodities SA. Mr Patwary has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley University and an MBA from Babson College. Anthony has 20 years experience in trading rice.
